Khaga Educational Society
Sensing the problems faced by girls of the area in getting proper education, Shri Yamuna Prasad Pandey established KAMLA BALIKA INTER COLLEGE at Khaga, Distt. Fatehpur in 1965 under Khaga Educational Society. This was the first Girls’ school in the Tehsil. Students from far & remote rural areas were provided free accommodation at the campus to enable them pursue their dream. The school today has grown into an institution with more than 1000 girl students from rural areas, where access to proper education is a challenge even today.
Yamuna Prasad Pandey Educational Society
Established in 1984, the society runs YAMUNA PUBLIC SCHOOL, a Co-educational School upto Class VII. The focus again is towards providing quality education to all sections of the society, with an emphasis on identifying bright students and extending all possible assistance such as subsidized fees and meeting out their school related expenses. An effort to let the talent flourish, unhindered by limitations.
Yamuna Prasad Pandey Charitable Trust
The Trust is involved into various charitable activities – arranging financial assistance to poor families for girl’s marriage, financial assistance for education to children and supporting similar endeavors of other institutions & individuals. Shri Yamuna Prasad Pandey had during his lifetime donated 3 acres of land to Govt. of Uttar Pradesh to construct a Hospital. YAMUNA PRASAD PANDEY COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE at Kisahnpur Road, Khaga is today providing health services to the people of the area.
Nagrik Utthan Samiti
Founded by a group of young & enthusiastic individuals, who had a passion to serve, NAGRIK UTTHAN SAMITI has been conducting Eye Camps since 1996. These Eye Camps provide services to only economically challenged families from Rural/Semi Urban areas for Cataract Surgery & other ailments. The Samiti also runs an Eye Care Hospital where subsidized services are offered for people of the area.
