YPP Group was founded in memory of Shri Yamuna Prasad Pandey (1925 – 1983), a visionary entrepreneur & passionate philanthropist. Starting as a trader of food grains in a small town Khaga in Fatehpur District of Uttar Pradesh, India , he pioneered the Rice Milling industry in Fatehpur. He later diversified into manufacturing of press-buttons & hooks and distribution & marketing of Fertilisers. Among his various philanthropic activities, notable ones are establishment of schools and enabling a full-fledged hospital in the area.

Today, the legacy of Shri Yamuna Prasad Pandey continues with constant expansion of the horizon. The YPP Group comprises of four companies today, present in various fields including traditional business, modern technology, eco-friendly activities & promotion of sustainable business models. The group aspires to enter into several more segments in the years to come.
